Regular giving helps us to be there for those in crisis, all year long
Regular giving

This is the most useful form of support and enables us to be there for the homeless and vulnerable beyond the current winter:

£5 pays for a weeks’ worth of socks that can help keep feet dry and healthy

£10 pays for 5 hot meals at our community club

£25 pays for one emergency mental health counselling session

One-off gifts

These are always gratefully received, and help us to meet immediate need:

£50 covers the cost of providing washing machine and dryers for a month so our homeless and vulnerable guests can clean their clothes and personal items whilst taking a shower

£100 pays for two days food, refreshments, and social aspects for over 60 people at our twice weekly community club

£250 pays for the salary of a part time, respected and highly qualified welfare worker for one week

Giving by debit or credit card – you can give a one-off gift or set up a regular donation:

Bank transfers and standing orders

If you would like to give by direct bank transfer or standing order please contact finance@wnsmk.org for our bank account details. Don’t forget to complete and send us a Gift Aid Form (click here) if you are a UK taxpayer to enable us to claim back tax, increasing the value of your donation. Forms can be returned to our registered address by post (see below) or you can send a digital copy of your signed form to finance@wnsmk.org.

Cheques

If you would like to send a cheque please make it payable to ‘Winter Night Shelter Milton Keynes’ and send to our Finance Manager care of our registered office, The Ridgeway Centre, Featherstone Road, Wolverton Mill South, MK12 5TH.

Payroll giving through your workplace

Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn or workplace giving) allows you to donate tax efficiently so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p (60p if you’re a higher rate tax payer), with the balance being paid by the government. Register via your employer (or ask them to register if they are not already signed up to the scheme) to set up payments to our bank account. Contact finance@wnsmk.org for more details.

Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference to the lives of homeless and vulnerable people in Milton Keynes.
